Terms and conditions of sale

This contract is made under the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully and ask for further explanation if any item is unclear.

1 PARTIES TO THE CONTRACT

1.1 The contract is between you the buyer and Slide Wardrobes Direct Ltd. the seller. The goods shall be the products, which are supplied by the seller to the buyer according to these terms and conditions.

1.2 The placement of an order expresses acceptance of our Terms & Conditions of business

2 PRICE AND PAYMENT

2.1 The price payable to the seller by the buyer for goods is as displayed on the web site and confirmed by the seller. For special items or items sourced upon request by the buyer the price is as confirmed by the seller.

2.2 The seller reserves the right to alter the price of any goods prior to delivery if deemed necessary due to change in cost to the seller in supplying these goods. In this case the buyer will be informed of any change prior to delivery.

2.3 Unless otherwise stated all prices are inclusive of VAT.

2.4 The seller reserves the right to alter the price and specifications of any goods advertised on the web site without prior notice.

2.5 Payment in full will be required at time of order. The buyer can make payment for the goods in one of two ways. If the items are ordered through the web site immediately, then payment of 100% of the price of the goods is made using any major credit or debit card via secure servers or alternatively over the phone using any major credit or debit card.

2.7 The seller retains ownership of the goods until the buyer has made payment in full to the seller.

3. PRICE MATCH

3.1 WHAT'S INCLUDED

The online shopping web-site where you found the product offered at a cheaper price must have the item available; the product must be new and not damaged; and be a like for like product. Competitor's offered price must be accurate, include VAT, and applicable carriage charges (if any), and they must be prepared to sell the item to you at their quoted price and not offered through any sort of auction (including E-bay). They must not be end of line clearance items, shop-soiled items or similar.

 3.2 DELIVERY AREA

We WILL NOT Price Match items from any website if that website is not able, or not prepared, to deliver the item to your shipping destination because it is out of their delivery area.

3.3 VERIFICATION

we must be able to verify the lower price. If we find that the competitor's price does not meet these conditions, we reserve the right to request the difference in price from you the customer, or you may cancel the order. We may set a baseline percentage whereby the product will not be price matched below this limit - in this case, your order will process at our baseline price, but this will be visible prior to proceeding with your order.

3.4 DECISION

Slide Wardrobes Direct Ltd Price Match is an offer to treat only, and is not a binding contract until we have accepted and processed your order. We reserve the right not to Price Match for any reason at our discretion - our decision is final.

3.5 ORDER PROCESSED

Our Price Match offer is available only prior to purchase. Once we have Price Matched that particular item and processed your order, we will not Price Match that item again under the same order

4 DELIVERY

4.1 Delivery will in most cases be made direct from the sellers address to the buyers address.

4.2 Our usual delivery is approximately 4 weeks from placing an order. Delivery times are given in good faith and are an indication only. The seller cannot be held responsible for any direct or indirect expenses caused due to late delivery. The seller will always do everything within their power to keep to a delivery date, but there may be reasons outside of their control that cause delays. It is advised not to book any installers until the product has been delivered.

4.3 The seller will always inform the buyer of any predicted delays as soon as practically possible.

4.4 Late delivery does not constitute a reason for the buyer to cancel the contract or refuse or delay payment.

4.5 The seller reserves the right to deliver the goods in more than one visit when deemed necessary.

4.6 The seller remains responsible for the goods until delivered and signed for, at which time the buyer takes responsibility for the goods.

4.7 The seller retains ownership of the goods until payment has been received in full.

4.8 The buyer is responsible for informing the seller of any difficult conditions at the delivery address. The seller reserves the right to leave the items in a safe and secure location chosen by the delivery team should this be necessary.

4.9 The buyer must be present to receive the delivery and sign for it. Should the buyer not be present a person or persons whom the buyer has previously informed the seller of must be present.

4.10 It is imperative that the buyer unwraps and inspects the goods thoroughly before signing the delivery note; the driver will wait while you do this. Any evidence of ripped or disturbed packaging must be noted.

Any claims of missing items must be made within 24hrs of the delivery, provided that the delivery note was signed "unopened" and "contents unchecked". Any claims after this period will not be accepted. Any claims where the delivery note has been signed "received in good condition" will not be accepted. Any claims made after the product has been fitted will not be accepted.

4.11 Deliveries are to ground floor only

5. CANCELLATION, RETURNS AND REPLACEMENTS.

5.1 No items for return can be accepted at the seller’s business premises without prior agreement.

5.2 Standard items ordered in error can be returned within a period of 14 days after delivery, provided they are in a sealed unused /unopened condition, with the original box and in a resalable condition. The buyer will be responsible for any carriage charges incurred in their return and all items will be subject to a 10% re-stocking fee.

5.3 Made to Measure & Made to Order products can only be cancelled within 24 hours of your order confirmation e-mail, as the product will have been manufactured to suit your specific sizes, and thus cannot be returned.

5.4 The buyer is responsible for specifying the requirements of any special or made to measure or bespoke items.

5.5 Slide Wardrobes Direct ltd. cannot be held responsible for the unsatisfactory fitting of its products as a result of mistakes made by the buyer when measuring;

5.6 It is recommended when cleaning glass doors to use a standard commercial glass cleaner spray or foam type glass cleaner and soft micro-fibre cloth. The glass cleaner should be applied sparingly and any excess dried with a cloth. Excess liquid should not be allowed to run down into frames or H-bars as this can cause damage to the paint finish

5.7 Any missing or faulty items that are reported within the timescale specified in clause 4.10 will be repaired or replaced at the sellers expense.

5.8 The seller retains the right to repair rather than replace items if deemed appropriate by the seller.

5.9 The matching of board and door is subjective and the sellers choice of board is final. It is the buyers responsibility to obtain a sample of the board and notify the seller of any special requests prior to placing an order.

6. Limitation of liability.

6.1 The seller shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from a direct or indirect result of the seller’s performance.

6.2 The seller will not accept responsibility for damage to any equipment in which their products are used for the purpose other than those for which it was designed.

7. Guarantee

7.1 All top and bottom running gear (wheels) have been tested to 100,000 opening and closing actions and are guaranteed for ten years from purchases date. Soft closer failure is guaranteed for a period of 12months.

8. LAW

8.1 The seller and buyer submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts even when the buyer is located outside of England.
