HOW TO MEASURE FOR YOUR SLIDING WARDROBE

Measure opening height and width

wall to wallwall to end panel

1. Fitting floor to ceiling and wall to wall                    2. Fitting to a doorway or window opening

made to measure

  1. All measurements must be taken in mm, remember your sliding wardrobe door kit will be made to measure (max. height 2450mm & max.width 4550mm.)
  2. Measure your opening height and width at the five points indicated on the diagram (610mm from the back wall to allow enough space for internal fittings.)
  3. Please take into account any obstruction such as coving, skirting, radiators etc. and either remove them or build an unobstructed opening around them.
  4. If fitting to a doorway or window openning, you will need an end panel. Once you have decided the total width of your wardrobe, we will allow for your end panel thickness within your maximum measurement.
  5. If there is a difference between measurements A, B or C, this means that your ceiling and floor are not parallel, your sliding doors will be made to fit the smaller of the three height dimensions. Your track set will allow for a difference of up to 25mm.
  6. If there is a difference between measurements D and E this means that your walls are not parallel, your sliding doors will be made to fit the larger of the two widths.  Adjustment in the door will allow for out of square opennings up to 20mm maximum.
  7. All items  are made according to your measurements. Please make a note  of measurements A to E (you can print this page and write your measurements on the boxes provided prior to ordering) and then type them into the text boxes on the order page. Products cannot be refunded or exchanged due to incorrect sizes, so please double check and then check again.
